Step 1 (Video) Reflection 5/6/19

My classmates felt that that by layer opaque clips over each other I was able to convey a sense of motion. They also thought the the imagery with the mice in the maze as well as the woman walking in circles made the video disorienting which was the intended effect. Everyone seemed to agree that the mouse in the maze was the most provocative scene and that watching the mouse retrace its steps and go in the wrong direction added to my concept. There was a general consensus that audio would add clarity and interest so I will definitely be including that in my final. One thing that did not work was the imagery of the people working in the fields. I was told it was unnecessary and I agree, especially with the title of the video already being “Harvest”.
